Armistice (oops!) Veteran's Day!

Welcome to your first blog for this school year!  
I hope you find this to be a simple way to stay connected to events happening locally, statewide, nationally, or even worldwide.

Having just concluded World War I in class this blog fits with our class content, as well as it's celebration!

1.  Briefly summarize what Veteran's Day celebrates and its importance to our country. 

2.  Briefly explain the significance of the number 11 to Veteran's Day. 

3.  Do you think Veteran's Day is sufficiently recognized in our country?  If yes, explain why.  If no, explain how you feel it should be different.  Provide a specific example in your response.
